Hi! I’m Sarah.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, ultrarunning coach, and Colorado mom walking alongside people who don’t slow down for much… including therapy.

My approach rejects the expert-learner dynamic and replaces it with a perspective that both recognizes our mutual worth as humans and centers our relationship itself. I’ll share tools and strategies, but therapy is more about connecting you to your own wisdom than it is me sharing my knowledge with you.

I don’t pretend to have all of the answers and I am not looking at you as a problem to be fixed. I’m here to give you a safe place where you can comfortably show up as your full and imperfect self, sort through the chaos, and connect with the part of yourself you’ve been ignoring for too long.

Whether we’re hiking a trail or meeting online between the chaos of your day, I bring authentic curiosity, compassion and tangible skills to our sessions. Your time is valuable and we make very good use of the 50 minutes we have together.

If you’re ready to conquer your mountain — outside and within — I’m here to walk with you.

Take A Listen

A collection of podcast interviews I have done. Take a listen to get a sense of my approach and a bit of a feel for what it is like working with me.

What’s In A Name?

Fireweed doesn’t wait for perfect conditions to bloom. One of the first flowers to return after a wildfire, fireweed are steady, resilient and determined. Their bright pink petals can be spotted throughout Colorado, thriving in sites of old avalanches or fires. They are a stunning reminder that healing is possible even after devastation.

That’s the spirit behind my practice. That life can (and will) show up and burn things to the ground or leave you feeling scorched — and you can thrive again.

I’m here for any point on that journey— whether you are looking for support as the world around you is going up in flames; need the space to sort through the ashes and find your footing; or are looking for the courage to bloom fully.
